<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a restrainable area of an occupant by an airbag in the initial stage of expansion by enabling the airbag to deploy in a wide range when the airbag provided in a bag holder of a steering wheel expands and deploys. <P>SOLUTION: The steering wheel W which includes the bag holder 10 for housing the airbag 22 which expands by being filled with gas from an inflator 21 so as to be surrounded by a bottom wall 11 and a side wall 12 vertically provided at a periphery edge portion of the bottom wall 11, and a bag cover 3 fixed at the side wall 12 of the bag holder 10 so as to cover a portion positioned on an occupant side of the airbag 22 is constituted so as to displace to a portion in which the bag cover 3 of the side wall 12 is fixed relatively to a portion adjacent thereto with an opening motion of the bag cover 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
