<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module and manufacturing method thereof in which an yield of the camera module can be improved regarding the camera module comprising a substrate and an imaging device which includes a photo-detection plane for forming a video image of an outer field passed through a lens and is fixed on the substrate, and manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A camera module 10 comprises a substrate 11 and an imaging device 12 which includes a photo-detection plane 28 for forming the video image of the outer field passed through a lens 18 and an IR filter 21 and is fixed on the substrate 11. Between the substrate 11 and the imaging device 12, an adhesive elastic member 13 is provided and a mold resin 14 is provided for regulating a position of the imaging device 12 so that the photo-detection plane 28 becomes nearly parallel with an upper face 23A of a substrate body 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
