PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying device, a drying method using the drying device, and a manufacturing method of a photoreceptor, capable of controlling the generation of powder dust in a heating chamber and efficiently performing drying. SOLUTION: This drying device has the heating chamber 2 for heating a dried object 1 by using hot air of a prescribed temperature, a hot air supply means 3 for supplying the hot air into the heating chamber 2, a hot air discharging means 4 for discharging the hot air in the heating chamber 2 to the external, a supporting table 5 for supporting the dried object 1 in the heating chamber 2, a shielding means 6 for opening and closing the heating chamber 2 when the dried object 1 is carried into the heating chamber 2 from the external and the dried object is carried out to the external from the heating chamber 2, and a rotating mechanism 7 for rotating the supporting table 5.
