PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience and reliability in performing calibration of a shift actuator in a vehicle comprising the shift actuator. SOLUTION: The shift actuator comprises a driving shaft 70g, a housing 70h supporting the driving shaft 70g rotatably, and a shift position detector for detecting the rotating position of the driving shaft 70g. The driving shaft 70g is connected to a shift mechanism through an operating lever 70j, a shift rod, or the like. A through hole 70m and a bottomed hole 70n are formed in the operating lever 70j and the housing 70h respectively. In assembling the shift actuator, a lever positioning pin 80 is inserted in the through hole 70m and the bottomed hole 70n to temporarily fix the driving shaft 70g. In the temporarily fixed state of the driving shaft 70g, the shift position detector is mounted to the housing 70h to adjust the length of the shift rod. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
