PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact casting waste sand recovering apparatus having superior durability and high economic performance, easy in post-treatment and maintenance and inspection. SOLUTION: This casting waste sand recovering apparatus is provided with a sucking sorting tank; a suction device communicating with the sucking sorting tank via a bag filter type dust collecting tank; and a recovering tank continuously connected to a lower part of the sucking sorting tank. The sucking sorting tank comprises an impact wall provided facing a suction port thereof, and airflow path regulating plates in a juxtaposed state provided with the sucking airflow path direction in the vertical or forward tilting direction. In this configuration, the airflow path regulating plate has an air receiving part and an air hole part, and air receiving parts are preferably juxtaposed in a facing state with the air hole parts in adjacent airflow path regulating plates.
