THE PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION METHOD USING SIGNAL STRENGTH BASED WPAN

A personal identification method of a biometrics measurement device in a home healthcare system based on a WPAN is provided to configure a home WPAN through a zigbee protocol and enable various family members to use a device in common through the biometrics measurement device capable of personal identification. A personal identification method of a biometrics measurement device in a home healthcare system based on a WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) comprises the following steps of: determining the strength of each signal received from each personal identification system if the signal is received from at least one personal identification system while waiting for the reception of the signal from the personal identification system(203); and determining a personal identification system corresponding to a received signal with the strongest strength as a user which wants to measure biometrics information on the basis of the received signal strength determination result(204).
