An apparatus for treating sewage and wastewater is provided to make the sewage and wastewater into compost or fertilizers for a short time without using chemicals, by separating excretion into solids and remaining liquid, filtering the separated remaining liquid through a filtering tank having a porous material layer, and fermenting the filtered remaining liquid. A first treating unit(100) separates sludge or excretion generated from a stall into solid and a remaining liquid by vibration. A second treating unit(200) includes a porous material layer, a lattice net, and a weight body. The porous material layer filters the remaining liquid through fermentation by microorganisms when the remaining liquid is adsorbed or passed. The lattice net filters off floating materials from the remaining liquid, and prevents porous materials of the porous material layer from sneaking away. The weight body applies a uniform pressure to the porous material layer, thereby preventing the porous materials from being floated due to buoyancy and maintaining the pores of the porous material layer uniformly. A third treating unit(300) is composed of a fermenting tank having a jet aerator. The jet aerator produces a liquid fertilizer by receiving the filtered remaining liquid from the second treating unit, mixing air into the remaining liquid, and circulating the mixture at a high speed. Chaff is used as main material in the porous material layer. |
