A method for ensilaging feeds such that straw is shredded, mixed with a green vegetable component, compacted and pressurized. The amaranth green mass, which is mixed with the shredded straw in the following ratio: amaranth green mass 90-100%, straw 10-0%, is used as the green vegetable component. While ensilaging, the silage mass is supplemented with lactic-acid bacteria in a solution in an amount of 1.3-2.5 billion cells per centner of the silage mass.
