A power factor improving circuit of a reactor type transformer is provided to operate a power supply unit smoothly by inducing the reduction of a quantity of power consumed by a user. A power factor improving circuit of a reactor type transformer includes a first coil(30), a second coil(40), a connection point(50), and a condenser(60). The connection point connects a rear end of the first coil to the second coil. The neutral point combines three-phases. The condenser is connected with the connection point and the neutral point in parallel. The rear end of the first coil is a load side. The first coil is a main winding wire. The second coil is an excitation winding wire. The condenser is a phase advanced capacitor. The main winding wire and the excitation winding wire have a characteristic of an inductance.
