The invention proposes a method for determining technical state of an accumulator battery and evaluation of an energy-balance. Evaluation of technical state is fulfilled at the expense of measurement of voltage reduction value at an accumulator battery when inching currents flow. It depends on an internal resistance with following program re-calculation of a residual capacitance. As test inching currents a standard electro-starter discharge is used. Necessary measuring is made in real time with given discretization interval. For calculation of internal resistance of accumulator battery it is used results of the measuring obtained in the moment, which previous to completion of starter start. Calculated residual capacitance reduces to real values taking into account a temperature. Following control of energy balance is made at the expense of direct calculation of charge -discharge processes when a vehicle moves or at car park.
