A dielectric barrier discharge lamp is provided to fix a wind-type external electrode by inserting an end of the external electrode to a fixing member formed on an external leaf electrode. A dielectric barrier discharge lamp includes a double pipe structure of which an outer pipe(102) and an inner pipe are coaxially disposed. An external electrode(105) is positioned on an outer surface of the outer pipe, and an internal electrode is positioned on an inner surface of the inner pipe. The external electrode has a wind type external electrode winding around the outer surface of the outer pipe and an external leaf electrode(106) enclosing a portion of the wind-type external electrode. A cut portion(107) is formed on both sides of the external leaf electrode to receive an end of the wind-type external electrode.
