MACHINE FOR UNCOVERING THE ROOT SYSTEM OF MOTHER PLANTS OF CLONAL ROOTSTOCKS

摘要

A machine for uncovering the root system of mother plants of clonal rootstocks can be used in horticulture for mechanizing the process of uncovering the root system of mother plants by further separating of layers. The machine comprises disk uncoverers arranged in series and active working elements as cylindrical brushes with the vertical rotational axis and the possibility of regulating the height of the working element due to distance sleeves on pins and change the width of space between the bristles of the adjacent brushes on each of the hubs separately. The use of the machine proposed allows to mechanize the labor-consuming technological process of uncovering the root system of mother plants of clonal rootstocks and to qualitatively perform it taking into account the type and age of plantations.
