<p>PURPOSE: A master cylinder of an electro-hydraulic brake is provided to improve the pedal feeling while removing wear of seal members of a second piston. CONSTITUTION: An electro-hydraulic brake comprises a first piston(210) moving according to driver's operation; a second piston(220) disposed in a bore with space in a serial direction of the first piston; seal members(280) disposed in the first and second pistons to prevent leakage of hydraulic pressure; a serial master cylinder(200) including the first and second pistons to make the first and second pistons with the seal members slide; a pedal simulator(400) communicated with the master cylinder outside the master cylinder; a pedal simulator piston(410) sliding inside the pedal simulator; and a compression spring(420) to be compressed by the pedal simulator piston when the pedal simulator piston slides by hydraulic pressure. The master cylinder of the electro-hydraulic brake comprises a bypass passage(300) disposed to the outside of the side wall of the master cylinder along the moving direction of the pistons to make the compressed oil formed in the bore of the master cylinder transmitted to the pedal simulator when a driver brakes. An oil discharge hole(260) and an oil suction hole(270) are disposed at the ends of the bypass passage. The bypass passage is opened and shut by the seal member of the second piston.</p> |
