A method for controlling the size of borers (Lepidoptera, Sesiidae) populations includes setting the favourable conditions for functioning entomophages, visual monitoring of the borers, determining the periods favourable for action of the entomophages, settling the Trichogramma (Trichogramma pintoi Voeg.) on the crowns of trees and shrubs in the egg-laying period of the borers, indiscrete three-time settling of the Habrobracon (Habrobracon hebetor Say.).
