Method for measuring effective aria of a light diode photosensitive cell is realized using the photoelectric method by means of light-striking the light diode photosensitive cell with a light flux. In plane of photodetector photosensitive cell it is created an even light field, measured a photo-signal of a photodetector. Then, before a detector window a diaphragm is installed. Later, an averaged value of a photo signal is measured; size of effective photosensitive aria is determined.
