#CMT# #/CMT# The device (5) has an immobilizing unit (8) for immobilizing a support unit (7) with respect to another support unit (7`) in a support position of the former support unit against the latter support unit to assemble parts (3, 3`) of an exhaust element e.g. tube (2``). The support units are constituted by flanges (9, 9`) extending radially with respect to axes (4, 4`) of the parts while the immobilizing unit is constituted by a clamping collar (11) engaged at a support over the flanges for assembling/disassembling the parts according to a radial displacement with respect to the axes. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a field of automobile industry for assembling two parts of an exhaust element e.g. depollution element such as catalyst and particle filter, acoustic element such as silencer, or tube, of an exhaust line (all claimed) connected to an internal combustion engine of a vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The support units are constituted by the flanges extending radially with respect to the axes of the parts of the exhaust element while the immobilizing unit is constituted by the clamping collar engaged at the support over the flanges for assembling/disassembling the parts according to the radial displacement with respect to the axes, thus avoiding axial movement of one part of the exhaust element with respect to another part of the element, and hence reducing the amplitude and ensuring the grip of support hook of one support unit on another support unit. The immobilizing unit immobilizes the support unit with respect to another support unit in the support position of the former support unit against the latter support unit to assemble the parts of the exhaust element, thus avoiding the problem of accessibility at clamping devices axially extending with respect to the exhaust element.
