An edge protection device provided with a light emitting unit is provided to guide a ship coming into a port and to allow a pier boundary to be easily recognized when the ship comes alongside the pier. An edge protection device provided with a light emitting unit comprises a body installed at the edge of a pier(100), a light emitting unit, an impact absorption member, and a power supply(50). The light emitting unit comprises a light transmitting part installed corresponding to an opening of the body, a lamp module installed corresponding to the light transmitting part to irradiate light, and a cover member coupled with the light transmitting part. The impact absorption member comprises a fixed plate coupled with the body, an anchor member installed at the fixed plate, a spring installed at the anchor member, and an impact absorption plate installed at the spring. The power supply(50) supplies power to the light emitting unit. |
