A display device, a circuit and a power monitoring circuit are provided to install a power extractor in an electronic paper display, extract power from electronic waves and store the extracted power in a smooth condenser, thereby removing the necessity for an independent power device for operating the electronic paper display and contributing to portability. A display device comprises a controller(10), a driver circuit(12) and a display(14). The controller comprises a CPU(Central Processing Unit), an antenna unit(11), a power circuit and a power monitoring circuit. The CPU controls the display. The antenna unit receives electronic waves. The power circuit outputs voltage based on signals outputted from the antenna. The power monitoring circuit detects output voltage outputted from the power circuit and outputs a reset signal to the CPU if the output voltage is not within an allowable range.
