The indicator (1) has an observation head (2) with a plate having a lower side (22) and an upper side (21), where the head has a positioning pin (24) and a piercing orifice. The pin has a dimension permitting its insertion inside a hole pierced in a living tissue e.g. bone, for receiving a foot of agrafe. The orifice has dimensions permitting insertion and axial guiding of a tool for piercing the tissue of another hole for receiving another foot. Spacing between the pin and the orifice corresponds to spacing between the feet and the diameter of the orifice corresponds to diameter of the feet.
