PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle audio device and audio system capable of properly switching audio sources. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle audio device having a storage means for storing music is provide with; a communication means for communicating with a portable music reproducing device; and a determination means for determining whether the same music as scheduled reproducing music due to reproduce with the portable music reproducing device is stored in the storage means based on information fetched by the communication means. When the determination means determines that the same music as the scheduled reproducing music is stored in the storage means, the scheduled reproducing music is output regarding the music which is the same as the scheduled reproducing music stored in the storage means as the audio source if a prescribed condition is established, and the information concerning the scheduled reproducing music in the portable music reproducing device becomes the audio source so as to output the scheduled reproducing music if the prescribed condition is not established.
