PLASTIC INTAKE MANIFOLD OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic intake manifold capable of inhibiting lowering of intake efficiency caused by the generation of turbulence in an intake pipe and suppressing an adverse effect caused by the generation of backfire.

SOLUTION: The intake manifold 30 is formed of plastic material and comprises a surge tank 31 and a plurality of intake pipes 32 which are branched from the surge tank 31, are curvedly formed to be directed to intake ports 17 of the engine 10 and are respectively connected to the intake ports 17. Straightening members 35 are provided inside the intake pipes 32 to be located on a most downstream side where the intake pipes are connected to the intake ports 17. The straightening member 35 has a honeycomb structure which divides a flow passage section for intake air into a plurality of passages.
