PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant purifying device and an absorption type cooling and heating machine comprising the same, capable of preventing the aged deterioration of performance by preventing the degradation of performance caused by corrosion at the refrigerant side of the absorption type cooling and heating machine. SOLUTION: This refrigerant purifying device for the absorption cooling and heating machine has a structure that metal having natural potential less noble than copper is disposed at an outer peripheral portion of a cylindrical cartridge filter composed of a filter element, a refrigerant is supplied from a metal side, and the refrigerant is discharged from a central portion of the cylindrical cartridge filter.
