PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spill-preventing dual vertical/horizontal type urine bottle having an urine storage part for both sexes, being used by placing it horizontally conventionally or vertically, having a receiving opening part for men or women and completely preventing the leakage and odor by two valves. SOLUTION: This spill-preventing dual vertical/horizontal type urine bottle is characterized in that the urine storage part of the synthetic resin urine bottle 1 is formed for the both sexes, the men's receiving opening part 3 or the women's receiving opening part 3 is inserted in the urine receiving part 2 of the urine bottle molded into such a shape as to be placed horizontally and vertically, a ball-type valve 5 is provided inside the receiving opening part 3 or 4 and is opened by turning a knob 6 in one of the left/right direction by 90°to store discharged urine in the urine storage part in the urine bottle, and when turning the knob in one of the left/right direction by 90°after the urination, the ball valve 5 is closed to prevent the leakage of the urine and the odor of the urine.
