PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane elastic fiber which has good dyeability and solid dyeability, little discolors, even washed with high temperature water, and has stable hue and good color fastness, and to provide a fiber product having a high commercial value. SOLUTION: This polyurethane elastic fiber contains an effective amount of a specific hydrotalcite compound composed of an ion having a specific structure between layers. Thereby, the dyeability and fastness of the polyurethane elastic fiber is largely improved, and a fiber product containing the polyurethane elastic fibers has good hue and an excellent aesthetic property. The particle physical properties of a specific hydrotalcite and its surface treatment can stabilize production on spinning. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
