PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin counting device which is of a double hopper type performing the high speed counting of coins and yet has driving structure enabling each of both side turn tables to be driven by a single motor and enabling them to be individually drive-controlled, then achieves non-useless counting processing of coins. SOLUTION: In driving the turn table, the output of a motor installed as a single driving source is branched to one side and the other side, and the output of one branched side is transmitted to the turn table of one coin counter arranged side by side, and the output of the other side is transmitted to the turn table of the other coin counter arranged side by side, and the power transmission of one branched side and the power transmission of the other side are controlled to be switched by providing a power switching means which individually transmits or individually interrupts the power transmission.
