A wireless controllable toy vehicle featuring an improved safety structure is provided to protect an unskilled child or the disabled as a driver by stopping automatically when an obstacle is placed on the road or a signal from a remote controller is weak. A wireless controllable toy vehicle(10) includes: driving units(11), a steering wheel(12), sensors(13) sensing any obstacle in forward/reverse drive directions, a vehicle control unit, and a separate remote controller(30). The driving unit has a motor connected to an axis connecting wheels on both sides, in which the motor includes a polarity switch making the toy vehicle move forward or backward. The vehicle control unit has a receiving section and a transmission section. Thus, if an input signal from the remote controller is weaker than a predetermined level, the vehicle control unit stops the toy vehicle automatically; if an obstacle sensing signal is inputted from the sensor, the vehicle control unit sends a signal to the driving unit or the steering wheel to stop, reverse or turn in any direction, depending on a distance between the vehicle and the obstacle. |
