PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting wire rod capable of reducing AC loss thereof, a superconducting apparatus, a manufacturing method of a superconducting wire rod and a manufacturing method of a superconducting apparatus. SOLUTION: The superconducting wire rod, including a tape-like substrate 11 having a multilayer structure, a-surface superconducting layer 12, and b-surface superconducting layer 13. The a-surface superconducting layer 12 is formed on one surface 11a1 of the tape-like substrate 11.
