PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of displaying various information processed in the air conditioner on a remote controller. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner capable of transceiving information on the air conditioner between the remote controller and an indoor unit body by bidirectional communication, and performing defect display on the indoor unit body when defect is found, the remote controller is provided with a request button outputting a request signal by being operated, the indoor unit body transmits the defect data in response to the request signal when the request button is operated when the indoor unit body performs the defect display, and the remote controller comprises a display portion for displaying the defect data transmitted from the indoor unit body.
