PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device which prevents a desired floating object with an electric charge from adhering to an optical element, by applying a bias for forming an electric field repelled by the floating object to the optical element, and also to provide an image forming apparatus having the optical device. SOLUTION: This optical device C has the optical elements 38, 39, 40 for allowing an image to pass therethrough or for reflecting the image, projects the image by light and forms a latent image on a scanning face by the light. Each of the optical elements 38, 39, 40 has a conductive section 47 on at least surfaces of a transmission side and a reflection side of the image.
