<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at low cost a sound insulating placement table for placing a piano or the like, which has high sound-insulating performance. <P>SOLUTION: An insulating structure material 3 is placed between a placement section 2a and a support plate 35, and only a small area part of a holding member 7 contacts the placement section 2a and the support plate 35. The holding member 7 has a hollow section 23, and a top plate 15 and a bottom plate 17 are connected by only thin right and left side plates 9. The cross-sectional area of a part, through which sound (vibration) is transmitted, is very small. Moreover, since the holding member 7 is formed of synthetic rubber and a bend section 11 is formed on the side plates 9, the holding member 7 itself also has the function of attenuating the sound (vibration).
