PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective circuit, in which only relatively slight voltage stress is generated in an electronic circuit to be protected, when transient overvoltage is generated at an input side of a circuit to be protected. SOLUTION: At least one output terminal is provided at an output side for connecting an electronic circuit to be protected to a protective circuit, and the output terminal is connected to a circuit node situated between two voltage-limiting circuit components.
