PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontally drawable shutter mechanism which positively wind up and out a shutter around and from a shutter drum. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the horizontally drawable shutter mechanism, an upper edge of each shutter guide 28 is arranged so as to be spaced a predetermined interval away from the shutter drum 32 driven by a motor 40 in a direction almost horizontal with respect to a floor surface. The shutter 42 guided by the shutter guides 28 is wound up like a roll around the shutter drum 32 according to forward/backward rotation of the shutter drum 32. Further the shutter 42 wound up like a roll around the shutter drum 32 is wound out from the top of the shutter drum 32 in an almost horizontal direction. The shutter 42 interlocks with a spring 54 via hooks 46, 56, and a tensile force of the spring 54 is applied to the shutter 42 in a falling direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
