PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the garbage remaining on a surface having projections in a garbage loading apparatus of a scavenging vehicle having a device for compressing the garbage by pressing the surface having the projections against the garbage. SOLUTION: A scraping plate 8 supported on the under side of a lifting loading plate 7 and rotatably pivotally supported on a pressing plate 10 having a pressing surface 10a from which the projections 10b for pressing the garbage are projected rotatably relative to the lower part of the loading plate 7 is rotated for scraping operation. The garbage is removed by moving the ends (garbage removing member 8b-1) of the projections 8b formed on the scraping surface 8a of the scraping plate 8 between the projections 10b, 10b.
