PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation apparatus for seedlings for equally supplying water to many seedling pots, and easily and efficiently cultivating many seedlings. SOLUTION: This cultivation apparatus for seedlings has a plurality of seedling pots 1 for cultivating seedlings, holding trays 2 for arranging a plurality of the seedling pots 1 on a horizontal plane and holding, a raising seedling bed 3 for horizontally placing and arranging a plurality of the trays 2 , and a liquid supplying mechanism 4 supplying liquid to each of the trays 2 to supply liquid to the seedling pots 1 in the tray 2. The tray 2 is set with a control opening 6 which can control a liquid level L of nutritious liquid 10 to be supplied, on a surrounding wall 12 set on the circumference of the bottom. The cultivation apparatus comprises bringing the control opening 6 to a condition allowing to store the nutritious liquid 10 on a bottom water supply level allowing to supply water from the bottom to the seedling pots 1 held in the tray 2, supplying the nutritious liquid 10 to the tray 2 by the liquid supplying mechanism 4 to supply water to the seedling pots 1 from the bottom, draining the nutritious liquid 10 supplied to the tray 2, and draining surplus of the nutritious liquid 10 from the tray 2.
