METHOD FOR RECOVERY OF LIPASE ACTIVITY

Disclosed is a method for recovery of a lipase activity, which comprises subjecting a lipase powder composition to an esterification or transesterification reaction and then washing the composition with triacyl glycerol, wherein the lipase powder composition comprises: a lipase derived from a microorganism belonging to the genus Thermomyces which is immobilized on a carrier, or a pulverized product of the lipase which has an average particle diameter of not smaller than 1 µm and smaller than 300 µm and is immobilized on a carrier; and a filter aid. The method enables to recover a decreased activity of a lipase with high efficiency.
