<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cellulose acylate film which can be thinned and is low in production cost and excellent in optical characteristics and in which the change of the optical characteristics by a sharp change of environmental humidity is suppressed, the cellulose acylate film obtained by the method, a retardation film, a polarizing plate, a retardation film with a color change reduced obtained by using these, polarizing plate, and a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the cellulose acylate film includes a process for casting a cellulose acylate solution on a metal support, a process for drying the cast cellulose acylate solution, a process for peeling the dried cellulose acylate film, a process for stretching the peeled film in the width direction, and a process for winding the film. An average drying speed in a region in which a volatilized portion percentage during the period from the start of the casting process to the end of the peeling process is 450-85 mass% is 50-190 mass%/min. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
