PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which enables a person (person to whom a camera is directed) to determine whether the operator of a cellular phone is setting a camera mode or just operating the cellular phone. SOLUTION: In the reporting method of the portable terminal, when detecting that the camera mode is set for photographing an object, it is reported by lighting or flickering a light emitting element.
