PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a reproduction apparatus by a video audio synchronization detector using video data and audio data having no time information at the time of reproduction. SOLUTION: An output timing section 122 detects a video data output timing at which a video data decoder 112 outputs predetermined decoded video data, and an audio data output timing at which an audio data decoder 113 outputs predetermined decoded audio data. A reproduction time acquiring section 125 acquires a video reproduction reference time when the decoded video data of predetermined one image should be outputted, and an audio reproduction reference time when the predetermined continuous audio data should be outputted, on the basis of the reproduction time information included in the encoded video data or the encoded audio data. A calculator 126 calculates, as a synchronization shift time, a difference between a video audio output interval as an interval between the video data output timing and the audio data output timing, and a reference interval between the video reproduction reference time and the audio reproduction reference time.
