PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational operation type electric component capable of easily adjusting a clicking feeling caused by magnetic force. SOLUTION: The rotor part of this rotational operation type electric component is mainly composed of a rotationally operated operating shaft 1, and a body of rotation 2 which is integrated with the operating shaft 1 while holding a detecting magnet 3, and a support member 5 forming a stator part rotatably supports the operating shaft 1. An adjusting holder 9 is threadedly attached to the support member 5, and magnetic force acting between a second clicking magnet 11 fixed to the adjusting holder 9 and a first clicking magnet 10 fixed to the boy of rotation 2 varies in accordance with the rotational positions of the rotor part. In addition, the interval (d) between both magnets 10, 11 facing each other can be adjusted by threadedly moving the adjusting holder 9 with respect to the support member 5.
