PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the uneven display caused by the electrification of a spacer, and to obtain a high-quality image. SOLUTION: A y-direction interval between two spacers SPC that are adjacent in the y-direction is referred to as L1. A line that is formed of a middle point of the interval L1 and that is in parallel with the extending direction of the spacers is referred to as a reference axis 0. An interval between the reference axis 0 and one or the other of the spacers SPC is referred to as L1/2. In this case, the half of the inverval between the spacer SPC and the reference axis 0 is L1/4. The diameter in the y-direction of a black matrix hole BMH at the reference axis 0 is referred to as BMHC, and the hole diameter in the y-direction at an arbitrary position y is referred to as BMHH. If -(L1/4)≤y≤+(L1/4), BMHH=BMHC. If y>+(L1/4), BMHH=BMHC+α×(y-(L1/4))<SP>n</SP>. If y<-(L1/4), BMHH=BMHC+α×(-y-(L1/4))<SP>n</SP>.
