PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bake a cake with its necessary positions browned favorably and its inside baked favorably without getting the surface layer of the cake dough burned. SOLUTION: This rice cooker includes a rice cooker body 12 for storing a rice cooking pot 11, a pot bottom heating means (a heater 16) heating the bottom of the rice cooking pot 11, and temperature detecting means (sensors 18 and 27) detecting the temperature of the rice cooking pot 11; and controls the rice cooking by controlling the respective heating means based on the detection values of the temperature detecting means. This rice cooker is provided with a cake dough course wherein an aging process for actuating a lid heating means is executed after a baking process for actuating the respective heating means and finishes the baking without actuating the pot bottom heating means.
