<p>A plasma display device is provided to compensate a shape of an electron beam by disposing auxiliary circular emission portions on both corners of a rectangular beam passing hole. A first substrate(2) and a second substrate(4) are opposite to each other, and first electrodes(6) and second electrodes(10) are formed on any one of the substrates. Electron emission portions(12) are provided on the substrate to emit electrons. Focusing electrodes(18) are formed on the first and second electrodes, with insulating layers(8,16) interposed between the focusing electrodes and the first and second electrodes. The focusing electrode is provided with rectangular beam passing holes(17,19), through which the electron beam emitted from the electron emission portions passes. At least one auxiliary emission portion(30) is disposed on an end of the beam passing hole of the focusing electrode.</p> |
