摘要 A display substrate, a manufacturing method thereof and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device having the same are provided to restrict corrosion of a pad part exposed to a surface of a substrate by applying a metal layer, having superior anti-corrosion due to big ionization energy, as line material, thereby reducing line defects due to induction of static electricity and reducing display substrate defects such as damage of a TFT(Thin Film Transistor). Gate lines are formed on a substrate(100) and comprise gate metal layers(120a). Source lines are insulated from the gate lines and cross the gate lines, and comprise source metal layers(120b). Plural pixel parts are formed in an intersection between the gate lines and the source lines and define a display area. A short pad part(52) is formed in a peripheral area surrounding the display area, comprises at least one of the gate metal layer and the source metal layer and receives common voltage. A short member is directly contacted with the short pad part and has conductivity.
