<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an optically active α-aminophosphonic acid and its derivative in a high enantio-selectivity even on using a general phosphonic acid or its derivative. <P>SOLUTION: This optically active α-aminophosphonic acid or its derivative is produced in a high enantio-selectivity by an asymmetric hydrophosphonylation of an imine compound with the phosphonic acid or its derivative by using an optically active aluminum (salalen) complex as a catalyst. Further, as the imine compound, in the case of using not only an aromatic imine, but also an aliphatic imine or alicyclic imine, the reaction can be performed. The obtained optically active α-aminophosphonic acid or its derivative has a peculiar physiological activity and is useful as a medicine such as an enzyme inhibitor, etc., or its intermediate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
