<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a feeling of coincidence between a sound image formed by sound from a speaker and an image displayed on a display by solving problems that the sound image formed by the audio from the speaker does not agree with the position of an announcer's face, thereby causing an uncomfortable feeling in a conventional video/audio reproducing unit for outputting video and audio, especially a source mainly comprising voice, such as news. <P>SOLUTION: The video/audio reproducing unit 1 comprises: a display section 8; a left front speaker 11L and a right front speaker 11R provided at both sides of the display section 8; and a center speaker 11C provided at an upper or lower side of the display section 8 on nearly vertical symmetrical axes in the left/right front speakers 11L, 11R. The video/audio reproducing unit 1 has a center sound image processing means 92 that outputs a sound signal for the center speaker 11C and attenuates the audio signal for the center speaker for outputting to the left/right front speakers 11L, 11R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
