<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a crystal-oriented ceramic that can stably produce a crystal-oriented ceramic with a high degree of orientation. <P>SOLUTION: The method is for producing a crystal-oriented ceramic composed of a polycrystal comprising an isotropic perovskite-type compound as a main phase, wherein a specific crystal face A of its crystal grains is oriented, by performing the steps of preparation, mixing, molding, and burning. In the preparation step, there are prepared an anisotropic shaped powder composed of oriented particles with anisotropic shape and a fine powder with a particle size of 1/3 or less of the anisotropic shaped powder. In the mixing step, the fine powder is mixed with the anisotropic shaped powder. In the molding step, a molded product is produced by molding a raw material mixture so that the degree of orientation of the oriented particles in the molded product is 60% or more. In the burning step, the crystal-oriented ceramic composed of a polycrystal comprising an isotropic perovskite-type compound as a main phase is produced by heating the molded product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
