<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent container that has a covering film from which bacteria and dead bacteria are easily and sufficiently removed, has high ability to shield light, allows a sharp object to be satisfactorily stuck in it, and ensures practically necessary durability and appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The reagent container includes a container body having reagent storing portions for storing reagents, and a covering film stuck to the container body and covers openings of the reagent storing portions. The covering film has an aluminum layer, a sealing layer stuck to the container body, an intermediate layer disposed between the aluminum layer and the sealing layer, and a protective layer formed on the aluminum layer opposite to the intermediate layer.
