<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snap lock which prevents a hook from drooping due to its own weight even if a container is placed upside down, and obtains a light snap action effect in the rotation of the hook by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An article carrying container 1 includes a container body 2 having an opening 3 on its upper face, a removable lid 4 covering the opening 3 of the container body 2, and the snap lock 9 locking the lid 4 to the container body 2. The snap lock 9 has a board 11, a lever 12 which is rotatable relative to the board 11 and energized in a closing direction, and the hook 13 attached rotatably to the lever 12.
