<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin film which makes it possible to produce an optical film uniform in optical characteristics since the stripe failure of a film can be prevented, and the development of retardation can be suppressed and a method for producing the thermoplastic resin film. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature of cooling rollers 28 and 29 is so adjusted that the difference between temperatures of the cooling rollers and the temperature of a thermoplastic resin sheet when the cooling rollers 28 and 29 are in contact with the sheet is ±3°C or less. The temperature of the thermoplastic resin sheet when sheet is separated from the cooling roller 29 on the most downstream side of a plurality of the cooling rollers 28 and 29 is adjusted to Tg(°C)-15°C or lower, wherein Tg represents the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
