<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precise and least invasive method and device for intracardiac administration of drugs to the cardiac muscle especially relating to a method and device for least invasive treatment for cardiac ischemia. <P>SOLUTION: A device for intracardiac drug administration including catheters (20, 45, 64) inserted into the ventricle of the heart and given to engagement with the region of the cardiac wall. The catheters include at least one position sensor (32) to transmit a signal in response to the position of an intracardiac catheter and a drug delivery devices (24, 27) to administrate the desired amount of treatment drug at a region determined in response to the signal from the position sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
